PHYSICAL SPACE

The clinic and gym will be located at 65-69 Keira St, Wollongong New South Wales 2500.

Yes, the Bio-Circuit will continue as part of the new offering.

We intend to have different areas available for different purposes within the complex, such as a separate clinical space and pilates studio. We are currently working through layout and logistics and will communicate more once we have confirmed plans.

We are hoping to minimise any construction impact for members post the launch. We anticipate there may still be some changes to the physical layout of the gym and clinic at Keira Street, however will communicate with members and clients once we know more.

Yes. The space and equipment are more than adequate to accommodate the combined SAVVY and Gateway Life membership base. We will continue to monitor usage, particularly during peak times, to ensure members have a positive experience. Our team will also be on hand to guide members and help manage flow within the space where needed.

We will not be installing more showers or toilet facilities in the gym and do not anticipate that the merging of the two membership groups will create further demand on these facilities. We will continue to monitor and look at ways of managing should this concern materialise.

The physical gym floor and equipment layout will remain the same. We are currently working through the broader layout and logistics of the building as a whole, however there are no planned changes to the gym space at this stage.

Gateway Life are currently working through repairs with the landlord and have requested these repairs to be made as soon as possible.

You can find out more about the Bio-Circuit on Gateway Life’s website here.

We will also provide a short video to help guide you through how it works. In addition, trainers will be available in the gym to support you and answer any questions as you get started.

There will be a mix of both indoor and outdoor classes available on the timetable. In the event of inclement weather, outdoor classes will be moved indoors at the Keira Street location where possible.

PARKING

The Keira Street complex has a private car park with 19 spaces. There is also street parking nearby. While we can’t guarantee parking will always be available, the carpark is not shared with any other businesses and we continue to monitor carpark usage. We know this is a primary concern for our members and that during peak periods, the area can become busy and parking may be limited. We also encourage our members to explore alternative transportation options, such as carpool, bus, walk or cycle.

We will not be installing a boom gate in the carpark, however we will continue to monitor use of the carpark by non-members / non-clients.

The Keira Street complex has a private car park with 19 spaces, along with additional street parking nearby. Parking operates on a first come, first served basis. While we understand some members may choose to stay after class (e.g. to use the café), we’re not able to reserve or guarantee spaces at any time. We will continue to monitor carpark usage to ensure it is being used by members and clients, particularly during peak periods. We also encourage members to consider alternative transport options where possible, such as carpooling, public transport, walking or cycling.

MEMBERSHIP

All current memberships will be grandfathered and transferred to Foundation memberships of the new organisation with pricing and current inclusions honoured.

A new offering will be announced shortly with added benefits and current members will be able to upgrade to the new memberships if they want to access the new benefits, such as access to gym facilities and Reformer Pilates.

At this stage we are not exploring Fitness Passport, however we will continue to revise our offering in the future.

Yes, dedicated seniors classes will continue for adults aged 60+, with programming specifically designed to support healthy ageing.

While class sizes may be slightly larger than Gateway Life’s current numbers, they will remain capped to ensure appropriate supervision and a supportive environment.

The gym welcomes adults of all ages and abilities and fosters a respectful and inclusive environment where members support one another. A diverse mix of ages is a strength of our community, and reflects our focus on shared wellbeing.

No, we will honour grandfathered arrangements for foundation members.

No, there won’t be a lock in period for any new contracts.

Yes, you can pause or place your membership on hold, as you have always been able to. This includes situations such as holidays, injury or work commitments.

Unlimited memberships will be moved to P4 Movement Memberships, retiring the Unlimited cohort name.

Currently we don’t have a class pass option, but we will consider adding this in the future.

No, if you place your membership on hold (e.g. for an extended holiday), you will not be required to change or upgrade your membership when you return. Your existing membership arrangement will remain in place.

In some cases, yes. Eligibility for the Seniors Membership can be considered on an individual basis, depending on a person’s needs and abilities. For the month of April, members who are unsure which stream suits them best are welcome to try classes from both timetables. During this time, you can speak with one of our trainers, who will help guide you toward the option that best supports your goals, fitness level and training preferences.

More information on Clinical Classes, including structure and pricing, will be shared shortly. We are currently finalising the details and will provide an update as soon as possible.

This applies to existing members who are unsure of which timetable suits them best. They are able to try classes from both timetables before committing to a particular membership timetable. Note: this is not a free trial, but access to mix of classes to determine best suitability of membership type.

Yes this applies to both P4 Movement Membership and the Seniors Membership

TIMETABLE

We are currently finalising the membership offering and this includes the revised timetable for group classes. We will continue to offer classes from 5am however some of these class types, trainers or timings may change from what you know today.

All classes include scalable options. Our trainers provide modifications and progressions to ensure every participant can train safely and effectively, regardless of experience.

We do not expect a time where the gym or clinic is unavailable, however we are still working through logistics behind the physical movement of equipment and how this would need to be accommodated given timetabling. Where any classes or sessions are likely to be disrupted, we will aim to offer alternatives or communicate changes with as much notice as possible.

Members can attend up to two Reformer Pilates classes per week. These sessions must be on separate days (not back-to-back) to ensure everyone has fair access to this popular class.

Reformer Pilates is a great way to complement your overall training program. Two classes per week is enough to experience the benefits we aim for, including improved core strength, mobility, and posture

Limiting sessions to two per week helps ensure more members have the opportunity to participate, while encouraging a balanced routine that may also include gym training, group classes, or Bio-Circuit sessions.

This approach allows everyone to enjoy the program while still achieving excellent results from Pilates as part of their weekly training.

The new timetable will commence from Monday 30 March. Once you have downloaded the new app, you will be able to book into your classes moving forward.

Yes. There are a range of classes available before and after standard work hours, as well as 30-minute lunchtime classes designed to suit those with busy schedules. Members will also have access to the gym between 6am – 8pm, allowing you to train at a time that works best for you.

We are currently exploring the opening hours for trading and will provide an update when we have more information.

Class sizes are dependant on the type of class, its targeted participants and any specific needs of the group. We review needs based on safe work practices and the best experience for our members.

Bookings will operate on a first come, first served basis. If a class is full, you can join the waitlist and will be automatically added if a spot becomes available. You will be notified via text message if you have been added to the class.

The 30-minute lunch sessions are designed for time-pressed office workers to fit in a quick, effective workout.
Warm-up is built into the instructor demonstration, and working sets are shortened to maximise time. Members can warm up beforehand or complete additional exercises set by the instructor after class if they’d like a longer session.

Yes, members are welcome to use the gym before or after class. You can warm up ahead of your session or complete additional exercises afterwards to extend your workout.

Reformer Pilates has always been a popular part of our offering, and due to equipment availability and class demand, access has naturally been limited. At times, this has meant some members have missed out on booking sessions when classes fill quickly. Introducing a weekly cap helps ensure fairer access, allowing more members to enjoy the benefits of Reformer Pilates as part of their overall training routine. P4 Movement is not a Pilates-only studio, Pilates is one of many training options available alongside the gym, Bio-Circuit and group classes. This approach supports a more balanced and accessible experience for all members.

Yes, we’ve heard your feedback and understand how important Cycle classes are to many of our members. We have added one Cycle class and one Seniors Cycle class back into the timetable to ensure members can continue to access this style of training. As we move through the initial launch period, we will continue to review class attendance and member feedback to guide future timetable updates.
