What is Survivor?
Maguire & McInerney SAVVY Survivor is a 7-day fitness festival all about raising money for those in need in our community. It is SAVVY’s biggest and most anticipated event of the year. This year it takes place on Sunday 10 – Saturday 16 December. Each day across the event, there will be three sessions available for you to attend (6:00am, 9:30am and 6:00pm). Sessions will include a mix of SAVVY’s most popular classes, with a twist. The goal is to come to as many sessions as you can (whether it’s one session a day, or all three) to raise valuable points for your team.
You also don’t have to be a SAVVY member to take part in Survivor – everyone is welcome!

What are we raising money for?
Survivor has always been about raising money for those in need in our community. This season we have teamed up with Illawarra North Parkinson’s NSW Support Group and University of Wollongong “Parkinson’s Molecular Insights of Parkinson’s Disease” research project. The money raised will go directly to Parkinson’s support programs & research, but more than that, Maguire & McInerney SAVVY Survivor will bring an awareness to the local community of the issues facing people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Once you have registered, you will need to create an individual fundraising page. The goal is to raise as much money as you can for our nominated charity. Did you know? The person that raises the most money wins the biggest prize, valued at over $500! You will receive steps on how to create your fundraising page from your registration confirmation email.
What team do I choose?
It’s totally up to you! You can pick a team that your friends are a part of or just pick your favourite colour. Every team is going to be full of amazing people so even if you sign up alone, you’re sure to make friends!
The teams you can pick from are Orange, Pink and Purple. Each team is sponsored by a fantastic local business – Orange by MMJ North, Pink by The Facialist and Purple by Diggies.
