SAVVY Survivor Fundraising Ball: A Night to Remember
The first-ever SAVVY Survivor Fundraising Ball was an unforgettable evening, bringing together the community in support of MND research. Hosted by Christian McEwan and Bella Leone from i98fm, the event featured lucky door prizes, raffles, and both live and silent auctions, creating an atmosphere of generosity and shared purpose.
Adding to the excitement, Graham arrived in the Batmobile, accompanied by Batman himself—a fitting tribute to his unwavering strength and fighting spirit.
The night featured talks from key figures in MND research and those personally affected by the disease:
- Graham Lancaster AM – Shared his journey with MND, inspiring guests with his resilience.
- Dr. Christen Chisholm, PhD – A leading researcher provided insights into the latest MND advancements.
- Luke McAlary – A Postdoctoral Research Fellow discussed ongoing efforts to combat MND.
Their insights reinforced the importance of supporting The Yerbury Lab’s MND Research Fund and the urgent need for continued investment in groundbreaking research.
